The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has confirmed the postponement of Israel’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Kosovo in Pristina, citing Israeli authorities’ restrictions on the national team’s travel due to the ongoing conflict with Hamas.
The Group I match, originally slated for Sunday, has been postponed, and UEFA has assured that a new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
This development follows UEFA’s previous decision to postpone Israel’s qualifier against Switzerland to November 15th, a decision influenced by attacks carried out by Hamas militants. The initially scheduled match, which was set to take place in Tel Aviv, was subsequently rescheduled as a result of these events.
