Northwestern Defeats UIC 7-6, Wins Season Series

Northwestern (18-20, 8-10 Big Ten) claimed a 7-6 victory over UIC (11-27, 7-8 MVC) on Tuesday afternoon, securing the season series. After losing 5-2 to the Flames in March, the Wildcats bounced back with a 2-1 win in their April 1 matchup. Northwestern will now host Washington for a three-game series this weekend.
