The Albion College men’s tennis team wrapped up its 2025 season on Wednesday, closing with three consecutive losses to conference rivals Calvin, Alma, and Hope.
The final stretch began with a 7-0 defeat to Calvin. In their next match, the Britons fell 6-1 at Alma. Josh Doyle and Jacob Doyle picked up a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, but Albion dropped the remaining doubles matches and missed out on the doubles point.
Josh Doyle also delivered Albion’s only singles win against Alma, claiming a convincing 6-1, 6-3 victory at the No. 3 spot.
In their season finale, the Britons were swept 7-0 by Hope College, ending their campaign without a win in their last three contests.
Despite the tough finish, the team showed moments of resilience, particularly from Josh Doyle, who closed the season with standout performances in both singles and doubles play.
