Nineteen members of the Dartmouth football team have been selected for the 2025 NFF Hampshire Honor Society, as announced by the National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Football Hall of Fame. This achievement ties Dartmouth with Marist for the second most honorees in the nation, just behind Harvard, which had 22 players named.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society has recognized student-athletes for their academic success for 19 years. Over the course of this time, 23 colleges and universities have had at least one player chosen for the honor each year, from 2007 to 2025.
To be nominated for the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, players must meet one of two criteria: they must be senior players graduating this spring or summer after completing their final year of playing eligibility in 2024, or they must be graduated players or grad transfers who earned their bachelor’s degree and competed in the 2024 season, regardless of whether they still have remaining eligibility.
The Dartmouth players named to the 2025 NFF Hampshire Honor Society are:
- Ejike Adele
- John Ballowe

The NFF Hampshire Honor Society builds upon the NFF’s National Scholar-Athlete program, which expands recognition for scholar-athletes at the 774 colleges and universities with football programs across the country. The program plays a key role in encouraging academic achievement among student-athletes nationwide.
