The Sun Conference announced its 2024-25 women’s tennis awards on Tuesday, and Keiser University’s Daniel Finn was named Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year.
Now in his 10th season at the helm, Finn earned this honor for the seventh time in his career. He led the Seahawks to an impressive 18-3 overall record, including a perfect 7-0 run in Sun Conference play.
Under his guidance, Keiser captured its seventh straight Sun Conference regular-season title. Finn also coached several players to top individual awards. Violet Apisah was named Sun Conference Player of the Year, while Eloise de Mooij took home Freshman of the Year. The doubles duo of Violet and Patricia Apisah earned Doubles Team of the Year honors.
In total, six Keiser players earned All-Conference recognition. Finn also helped guide Violet Apisah to her second ITA Cup National Championship during the fall season.
Finn’s leadership continues to establish Keiser as a powerhouse in women’s tennis, both in the conference and on the national stage.
