The quarter-final second legs of the UEFA Champions League produced some impressive Fantasy scores, with Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy leading the pack. Guirassy earned 17 points for his hat-trick performance, while Mikel Merino, John McGinn, Ezri Konsa, and Lautaro Martínez also delivered strong performances for Fantasy managers.
A total of 16 goals were scored across the four quarter-final matches, and 11 players accumulated eight or more Fantasy points.
Goalkeepers
In a low-scoring week for goalkeepers, Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois (€5.7m) emerged as the highest scorer after saving Bukayo Saka’s penalty during their defeat to Arsenal. Courtois finished with seven points.
Wojciech Szczęsny (€4.1m) recorded eight saves but was penalized after conceding a penalty in Barcelona’s loss at Dortmund, ending with just two points. Gianluigi Donnarumma (€5.8m) also earned two points after conceding three goals at Aston Villa, despite making five saves. David Raya (€5.6m) and Yann Sommer (€5.5m) each picked up two points, helping Arsenal and Inter progress to the semis.
Defenders
Paris Saint-Germain’s full-backs, Achraf Hakimi (€5.7m) and Nuno Mendes (€5.9m), both scored and earned eight points. Hakimi has accumulated 96 points this season, while Mendes has 91. Ezri Konsa (€4.9m) scored nine points, despite Aston Villa’s exit. Inter’s Benjamin Pavard (€5.0m) also earned eight points, thanks to a goal against Bayern München.
Marquinhos (€5.6m) was the only other defender from a semi-finalist team to score more than three points, finishing with four points after nine ball recoveries.
Midfielders
Arsenal’s Mikel Merino (€7.0m) was the top midfielder on Matchday 14, collecting ten points after assisting both of Arsenal’s goals in Madrid. Declan Rice (€6.2m) earned eight points for his nine ball recoveries, and John McGinn (€6.6m) matched Merino’s ten points after an all-around performance for Aston Villa.
Ousmane Dembélé (€8.6m) also continued his strong form, providing an assist at Villa Park and earning his second Player of the Match award in the Champions League. Fermín López (€6.5m) earned six points for Barcelona after assisting against Dortmund.
Forwards
Serhou Guirassy (€8.2m) was the standout Fantasy player, scoring a hat-trick and picking up 17 points despite Dortmund’s elimination. Guirassy’s debut Champions League season ended with 13 goals, four assists, and 103 Fantasy points.
Lautaro Martínez (€9.4m) continued his excellent run, scoring again as Inter progressed to the semi-finals. Martínez became the first Inter player to score in five consecutive Champions League appearances.
Harry Kane (€11.0m), despite Bayern’s exit, scored in their quarter-final match, finishing with 11 goals in the competition.
