The Chattanooga Mocs women’s tennis team’s season came to an end on Thursday afternoon with a 4-0 loss to No. 3-seeded Wofford in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference Championships at the Champions Club in Chattanooga.
Chattanooga, seeded No. 6, finishes the season with a 11-11 record. Meanwhile, Wofford improves to 17-3 and moves on to the semifinals. This victory marks Wofford’s second win over the Mocs this season, completing a season sweep of the team.
The SoCon Championship tournament continues through the weekend at the Champions Club, with the semifinals scheduled for Friday and the championship match set for Saturday. For more information, visit the championship central website.
