The Quinnipiac men’s tennis team wrapped up a historic regular season on Thursday afternoon with a 5-2 win over Fairfield. The victory secured an unbeaten 8-0 record in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play—the first perfect conference season in program history.
Despite already clinching the regular season title last Sunday, the Bobcats stayed sharp on the road. Quinnipiac won five of six singles matches to seal the win.
Daniel Velek, Carlos Braun Simo, Elias Hoxha, and Vishal Prakash each won in straight sets. Finn Burridge added a comeback victory, rallying to win his match 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
