Villarreal CF and the Social Football Summit Snack (SFS) hosted a major event this Tuesday at the Estadio de la Cerámica. The session brought together football industry professionals to explore how sports infrastructure impacts cities and communities.

Under the theme “Football, Infrastructure and Urban Development,” speakers talked about how stadiums can boost local economies, help revitalize urban areas, and strengthen community ties.
A key part of the conversation centered on Villarreal’s home stadium. Once updated, it became a central part of life in Vila-real and nearby areas. Speakers shared how the stadium has supported the club’s growth and opened new opportunities for business and sponsorships.
The session was moderated by Giulia d’Angelo, a marketing professional. Panelists included Matteo Quitadamo (SFS business developer), Brandon Páramo (Villarreal CF international trade manager), Merche Añón Roig (Valencia Basket Club commercial director), Pedro Iriondo (Football Benchmark general manager), Juan Antón (Villarreal CF commercial director), Mirko Cucchiarelli (AS Roma head of premium sales), and Noemi Úbeda (Ascale marketing and communication manager).
