Host’s responsibilities will include working with Hong Kong’s top players, such as Coleman Wong Chak-lam and Cody Wong Hong-yi, along with the city’s emerging talents. He will oversee coaching teams at both the HKSI and the HKCTA, collaborating with players’ personal coaches to develop the sport in Hong Kong.

Previously, Host served as Finland’s national tennis coach and led on-court activities at the USTA’s national campus in Florida. His arrival comes at a critical time as Hong Kong aims to retain its publicly funded status for tennis over the next two years.
