The Nevada Wolf Pack men’s basketball team continues to strengthen its roster with the addition of transfer guard Tayshawn Comer from the University of Evansville.
Comer, a 6-foot-1 junior, averaged 16.2 points, 4.1 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game last season for the Purple Aces. He is originally from Indianapolis and began his college career at Eastern Kentucky, where he played for two seasons before transferring to Evansville.
His commitment adds to a busy week for the Wolf Pack. Last Friday, Nevada secured junior college transfer Vaughn Weems. Since then, the team has also brought in two new assistant coaches—Kyle Guy and Lo Heath.
Comer is the latest addition to a growing list of new players. Earlier in the offseason, Nevada signed its first transfer, Elijah Price, from Fresno State.
