The North Florida men’s tennis team ended its regular season with a 6–1 loss to North Alabama on Sunday evening. Despite the defeat, UNF will enter the 2025 ASUN Tennis Championships as the No. 5 seed.
North Alabama started strong, earning the doubles point with wins on courts two and three. In singles, UNF junior Andreas Scott provided a bright spot, earning a dominant 6–0, 6–0 win on court one over Lachlan Brain. With the victory, Scott extended his winning streak to nine straight matches heading into the postseason.
The Lions took control from there, winning singles matches on courts three, four, five, and six to clinch the match. UNA also added a win at court two to complete the 6–1 scoreline.
