The Lindenwood women’s tennis team (5–8, 2–3 OVC) lost 4–0 to the University of Missouri on Sunday in a non-conference matchup.
Doubles Recap:
The Tigers took the doubles point after winning on Courts 2 and 3.
- Paola Garcia and Fabiana Labrador were defeated 6–2 by Andrea Artimedi and Inah Canete.
- Daniela Rosenberger and Sarah Ben Aba lost 6–0 to Lailaa Baker and Zoe Lazar.
- Megan Caffin and Michelle Trochez had their match against Mary Brumfield and Korina Roso go unfinished at 3–3.
Singles Recap:
Mizzou continued their strong play in singles, claiming three matches to secure the win.
- Megan Caffin fell to Zoe Lazar 6–1, 6–3.
- Paola Garcia lost to Andrea Artimedi 6–1, 6–2.
- Sarah Ben Aba was defeated 6–1, 6–1 by Gian Octa.
The remaining singles matches were left unfinished:
- Fabiana Labrador led Inah Canete 6–1, 3–2.
- Daniela Rosenberger trailed Sophia McLellan 6–2, 4–3.
