The National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) has unveiled a new series of collectible coins honoring the nation’s top football institutions. Starting April 11, fans and collectors alike can purchase coins from the Football Clubs of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstan Football Federation collections—part of the broader Sport coin series—via the NBK’s official online store.
The release includes 13 coins, each showcasing the official logo of a 2024 Kazakhstan Premier League club. This marks a celebration of the domestic football scene and its cultural significance in the country.
Each coin:
- Has a mintage of 7,000 pieces
- 5,000 packaged individually in blister packs
- 2,000 included in a souvenir set titled Football Clubs of Kazakhstan
- Is made from cupronickel alloy
- Weighs 15 grams
- Measures 33 millimeters in diameter
- Has a face value of 200 tenge (approx. US$0.40)
- Comes in brilliant uncirculated quality
