Napoli’s backup goalkeeper Simone Scuffet, who stepped in after Alex Meret was ruled out sick, made a crucial save in stoppage time to stop Emil Holm and preserve the draw. Bologna remain one point ahead of fifth-placed Juventus.

Valladolid Duo Apologize After Heated Sideline Clash

In Spain, Real Valladolid players Luis Pérez and Juan Miguel Latasa have apologized for a fight on the bench during their 2-0 defeat to Getafe in La Liga on Sunday.

The two players issued a joint statement saying their actions were unacceptable. “No sporting result or frustration can justify the disrespectful behavior we showed yesterday on the bench,” the statement read. “We apologize to our teammates, the club, and the fans.”

The players said they have already apologized to the squad and are willing to accept any disciplinary action the club imposes.

Valladolid, who are last in La Liga and 14 points from safety, also condemned the incident. In a statement on Monday, the club said it “deeply regretted the image presented by our players” and confirmed it is considering further action.

TV footage showed Pérez attempting to punch Latasa shortly after Latasa was substituted in the 60th minute.

Osasuna Denied by Late Leganés Penalty

Meanwhile, Osasuna and Leganés played out a 1-1 draw on Monday in a match full of action. Defender Jorge Herrando scored his first league goal to put Osasuna ahead, but Dani Raba equalized for Leganés with a late penalty.

Osasuna controlled much of the game and had a goal disallowed for a close offside call in the first half. Herrando scored early in the second half, heading in a corner flicked on by Jon Moncayola.

The visitors should have sealed the win, but striker Ante Budimir missed two golden chances. Leganés took advantage when Sergio González was fouled in the box with five minutes to go. Raba stepped up and scored from the spot.

Osasuna move up to 13th in the standings. Leganés, still third from bottom, reduced the gap to Alavés, who are just above the relegation zone, to two points.
