The quarterfinals of the College Basketball Crown tipped off Wednesday with two thrilling matchups on FS1.
In the opening game, Boise State secured a high-scoring victory over Butler, winning 100-93. The Broncos not only advanced to the semifinals but also earned a $50,000 prize for their performance.
Later in the evening, Georgetown and Nebraska were set to clash at 9:30 p.m. ET. Both teams entered the matchup following impressive first-round comebacks, led by standout performances from their top scorers. Georgetown’s Malik Mack delivered a Jordan-esque display, scoring 37 points despite battling illness. Meanwhile, Brice Williams powered Nebraska with a 30-point effort.
The quarterfinal action continues Thursday with two more matchups airing on FS1. The winners will join Boise State in the semifinals, scheduled for Saturday. The championship game will take place on Sunday, April 6, and will be broadcast on FOX.
