Bowie State University’s Recreation and Intramurals has officially launched its 2025 women’s flag football season. The Bulldogs will compete in two Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Round-Up events before concluding their campaign at the CIAA Women’s Flag Football Championship in Charlotte, N.C.
The season begins on Wednesday, March 5, in Winston-Salem, N.C., where Bowie State will face Bluefield State and Fayetteville State in CIAA Round-Up #1. The following day, the Bulldogs will take on Claflin University and Livingstone College to wrap up the event.
Later in March, the Bulldogs will travel to Richmond, Va., for CIAA Round-Up #2, hosted by Virginia Union University. They are set to compete against Johnson C. Smith and Winston-Salem State on Friday, March 28, followed by a matchup against Virginia Union on Saturday, March 29.
The season will reach its climax on April 10, when the Bulldogs head to Charlotte, N.C., for the CIAA Women’s Flag Football Championship, hosted by Johnson C. Smith University.
Bowie State aims to make a strong impact this season as they set their sights on the championship stage.
