Valentinsson and Zalukar Earn MAC Honors After Perfect Doubles Weekend

The Mid-American Conference (MAC) has named Miami University’s Emilia Valentinsson and Sara Zalukar as the Doubles Team of the Week, following their dominant performances at the No. 1 doubles position.

The duo went 2-0 over the weekend, securing a 6-1 win against Bowling Green State University on Friday and a 6-4 victory over Eastern Michigan University on Sunday. Their strong play helped Miami claim the doubles point in both matches, ultimately leading to victories and keeping the RedHawks unbeaten in MAC play at 5-0.

Miami University returns to action on Friday, April 4, at 12 p.m. when they travel to Buffalo, N.Y., to face the University at Buffalo in another key MAC showdown.
