Hamilton College secured a commanding 6-1 win over Trinity College in NESCAC men’s tennis action on Sunday, March 30. First-years Lleyton Mendieta ’28 and Eerik Villem Aadamsoo ’28 won both their singles and doubles matches, helping the Continentals claim victory inside Trinity’s Memorial Field House.
Season Update
Nationally ranked No. 36 Hamilton improved to 10-3 overall and 1-3 in NESCAC play. The Continentals have won eight of their last nine matches. Meanwhile, Trinity dropped to 5-4 (0-4 NESCAC) after losing both of its weekend conference matches by a 6-1 score.

Trinity started strong, winning two of three doubles matches to secure the team doubles point. However, Hamilton responded emphatically, sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets to seal the victory.

- Lleyton Mendieta ’28 won at No. 2 singles and teamed up with Eerik Villem Aadamsoo ’28 for Hamilton’s lone doubles win at No. 3. The duo is now 15-7 overall and 10-2 in dual matches.
- Connor Griff ’25 secured a victory in his first No. 1 singles match of the spring. He holds an 18-5 record this season and is 73-25 in his career.
- Tarun Korwar ’27 triumphed at No. 3 singles, improving to 14-4 this season and 32-11 overall.
- Anson Anderson ’26 claimed a win at No. 4 singles, marking the 35th victory of his career.
- Antonio Chavez ’28 battled to a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles.
Hamilton has now won two consecutive matches against Trinity in Hartford.
