The Eastern Kentucky University men’s tennis team suffered a tough 4-3 loss to Bellarmine on Sunday evening at the Eddie Weber Tennis Complex.

• EKU (9-15, 2-4 ASUN) dropped the doubles point after losses on courts one (6-1) and two (6-3). The match on court three was left unfinished with EKU leading 5-4.
• Needing four singles wins to take the match, the Colonels secured three victories from Nuno Pinheiro (6-3, 6-4), Fernando Bulnes (6-1, 6-4), and Romeo Elfving Navarro (6-3, 6-3).
• However, Bellarmine claimed victories on courts three, four, and five, securing the overall 4-3 team win.

• Bulnes improved to 4-1 in ASUN play and extended his singles win streak to three matches.
