The Saint Joseph’s women’s tennis team fought hard in a close match on Sunday but fell to Bucknell by a 4-3 score.

- Bucknell secured the doubles point with wins in the first and third flights. However, Saint Joseph’s duo Charlotte Kordonowy and Brooke Tackett won in the second flight.
- In singles play, Kordonowy claimed another victory in the third flight. Wiktoria Czerny won in the second flight, and Gisele Tang secured a win in the fourth. Despite these efforts, Bucknell took the remaining three singles matches to seal the overall victory.
Coach’s Perspective
“A tough one today,” head coach Jeff Puhan said. “We started slow in doubles but raised our energy in singles, giving ourselves a chance to win. Overall, it was a solid weekend, and we are improving. Next up is Delaware on Tuesday.”
