The University of Dayton men’s tennis team extended its winning streak to 14 matches with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Richmond on Saturday at the Westhampton Tennis Complex.
Despite losing the doubles point—falling 6-2 and 6-4 in two matches—the Flyers mounted a strong singles comeback. Sophomore Mikel Zinder delivered the decisive point, winning a tense three-set battle at No. 2 singles. At No. 1, fellow sophomore Kyle McNally dominated with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. Junior Sai Dore secured a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 3, while freshman Brady Hussey matched that score with a solid performance at No. 5.
