Utah State welcomed representatives from 18 NFL teams as 12 former Aggies showcased their athletic skills at the university’s annual Pro Day on Thursday. The event took place at the iFIT Sports Performance Center and the Stan Laub Indoor Training Center.
Former Aggies Compete in Strength and Speed Drills
The 12 participating players underwent official height and weight measurements before completing various speed and strength tests. These included the 225-pound bench press, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, three-cone drill, broad jump, and vertical jump.
The athletes who participated were:
- Falepule Alo (OL): 6-1.5, 294 lbs
- Wyatt Bowles (OL): 6-5, 306 lbs
- Jacob Garcia (LS): 6-0, 233 lbs
- Stephen Kotsanlee (P): 6-0.7, 206 lbs
- Jon Ross Maye (LB): 5-10.7, 225 lbs
- Cole Motes (OL): 6-5.3, 296 lbs
- Elliott Nimrod (K): 5-11.7, 178 lbs
- Spencer Petras (QB): 6-5, 234 lbs
- Jalen Royals (WR): 6-0.1, 204 lbs
- Torren Union (S): 6-0.6, 205 lbs
- Jordan Vincent (S): 5-9.5, 192 lbs
- Kyrese White (WR): 5-10, 186 lbs
Top Performers and Notable Results
- Kyrese White stood out with the best vertical jump (37.5 inches) and broad jump (10-4). He also ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.56 seconds).
- Falepule Alo led in the bench press with 26 reps at 225 pounds.
- Elliott Nimrod recorded a 37.0-inch vertical and a 9-7 broad jump, running a 4.58-second 40-yard dash.
- Jalen Royals, who participated in the 2025 NFL Combine, posted a 36.0-inch vertical jump and a 10-1 broad jump.
- Jordan Vincent impressed with a 36.5-inch vertical and a 9-11 broad jump, running a 4.63-second 40-yard dash.
Other standout performances included:
- Wyatt Bowles: 21 bench press reps, 26.5-inch vertical, 9-0 broad jump, 5.19-second 40-yard dash.
- Jon Ross Maye: 31.0-inch vertical, 9-4 broad jump, 4.88-second 40-yard dash.
- Spencer Petras: 27.5-inch vertical, 8-11 broad jump.
- Torren Union: 28.5-inch vertical, 9-0 broad jump, 4.95-second 40-yard dash.
Looking Ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft
In addition to the strength and agility tests, players also participated in position-specific on-field drills to demonstrate their football skills.
Next up for these NFL hopefuls is the 2025 NFL Draft, which will take place from April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
