The Eastern Kentucky University women’s tennis team is set for a three-match road trip in Florida as part of Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) play. The Colonels will compete from March 21-23, facing Stetson, Queens, and Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).
EKU opens the weekend on Friday with a road match against Stetson at 10 a.m. ET. On Saturday, they will take on Queens in a neutral-site contest in Orlando at 9 a.m. The trip concludes Sunday with another road match against FGCU at 10 a.m.

Recap of ASUN Opener
EKU (7-13, 0-1 ASUN) began conference play last Sunday with a 4-2 loss to North Florida. The Colonels secured the doubles point with a thrilling 7-6 win at the top flight and a dominant 6-0 victory on court two.
In singles play, EKU needed three wins but managed just one across the five completed courts. Junior Marilou Cote delivered a strong performance, defeating UNF’s Nicole Alfaro Solis in straight sets. She leads the team in singles play with a 9-8 overall record.
Key Players to Watch
Sophomore Izem Elif Olcer has been a steady presence for the Colonels, primarily competing on the lower three courts. She holds a 6-5 singles record this season and has won three of her last four completed matches against Belmont, Murray State, and Southern Indiana.
