LSU football secured a major commitment Wednesday as five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys announced his decision to join the Tigers, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Keys, ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect by the On3 Industry Ranking, is considered the top wide receiver recruit in Mississippi and the highest-rated player in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 185 pounds, Keys made his decision following a recent visit to Baton Rouge. He chose LSU over other powerhouse programs, including Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Alabama.
With Keys’ commitment, LSU now has seven players pledged to its 2026 class, making him the first recruit from outside Louisiana. His decision also pushes LSU to the No. 1 spot in On3’s recruiting rankings.
Currently attending Hattiesburg High School, Keys had an impressive junior season, recording 40 receptions for 839 yards and 12 touchdowns.
