Valencia CF, through its foundation, Fundació VCF, has partnered with Sedaví Town Hall and CF Atlético Sedaví to restore the football field at the Sedaví Municipal Sports Complex. The facility suffered extensive damage during the DANA storm in October.
The project is part of Valencia CF’s ‘UNITS COM SEMPRE’ solidarity campaign, which supports local football initiatives. Funding for the reconstruction comes from various sources, including the FILA CERO SOLIDARIA fundraising effort and ticket sales from the Valencia CF vs. Real Betis match. The club’s majority shareholder, Peter Lim, and its official insurer, Divina Seguros, have also contributed, along with LALIGA through EA Sports and other supporting organizations.
The Sedaví complex was one of the worst-hit areas during the storm. This restoration follows the recent agreement to rebuild the Jaume Ortí Municipal Sports Complex in Aldaia, finalized in February. Valencia CF and Fundació VCF plan to announce further refurbishments of football facilities across the province.
This initiative will benefit over 250 children, helping them regain access to essential sports and recreational activities. The project aims to support their physical, social, and emotional well-being by restoring a safe space for training and community engagement.
