The Bucknell women’s tennis team suffered a 7-0 loss to Florida Southern, dropping to 4-6 on the season.
The Bison found their only success in doubles play, where Whitney King and Abigail Platt secured a 6-3 victory over Kennedi Brown and Kelly Klaren. However, Florida Southern won the other two doubles matches, claiming the doubles point.
In singles competition, the Moccasins dominated by winning all six matches. Anna Lajos put up a strong fight, forcing a third set in her match, but ultimately fell short, sealing the shutout for Florida Southern.
Bucknell will return to action on Wednesday, March 12, at 2 p.m. when they take on Southeastern in their final match in Florida.
