Columbia Women’s Tennis to Host Memphis and Michigan State This Weekend

The No. 57 Columbia women’s tennis team is set to host Memphis and Michigan State at the Philip and Cheryl Milstein Family Tennis Center this weekend.

Columbia will face Memphis on Friday at 1:00 p.m., followed by a match against Michigan State on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. to wrap up the weekend.

Lions Move Up in ITA Rankings

The Lions have improved to No. 57 in the latest ITA Rankings, moving up from No. 63 last week.

Last Time Out

Columbia enters the weekend with a 5-4 overall record, looking to bounce back after a 6-1 loss to Syracuse on February 16. Gayathri Krishnan earned a singles victory at No. 3 to put Columbia on the board in the match against Syracuse.

Before the loss, the Lions had a strong performance at the ECAC Championships, defeating Brown and Harvard to reach the finals for the second consecutive year. However, they finished second after a narrow loss to Yale.
