ODU’s Lidiia Rasskouskaia Named Sun Belt Player of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – Lidiia Rasskouskaia of Old Dominion University was named Sun Belt Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Rasskouskaia played a key role in the Monarchs’ 4-1 victory over Princeton on Sunday. She helped secure the doubles point alongside Sofia Johnson, coming from behind to win their No. 1 doubles match 7-6. Rasskouskaia then clinched the match for ODU with a 6-4, 7-6 victory in No. 3 singles over Yichen Zhao.

ODU will face Maryland this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
