Beaumont United’s Timberwolves have found their next head football coach in Drenard Williams.
Williams, a Beaumont native, confirmed to the Enterprise that he has accepted the position and will soon sign his official contract.
Before taking on this new role, Williams was the associate head coach of the Lyndon B. Johnson Jaguars in Austin. There, he played a key role in guiding the team to an impressive 11-1 record and a regional round appearance in the Class 4A-I state playoffs this past season.
Williams’ experience and leadership are expected to bring fresh energy to the Timberwolves as they prepare for the upcoming football season.
