The Coastal Carolina men’s tennis team is set for a busy week as it looks to extend its three-match win streak. The Chanticleers will face UNCG, Elon, and SCAD in a series of important matchups.
The week begins on the road in Greensboro, North Carolina, where Coastal will take on UNCG on February 25 at 2 p.m. ET. The Spartans come into the match with a 3-4 overall record.
After the road trip, the Chants return home for two matches at the Stevens Tennis Complex. On February 28, they will face the Elon Phoenix at noon, followed by a matchup against the SCAD Bees on March 2 at 2 p.m. ET. Elon enters the week with a 1-5 record, while SCAD stands at 4-2.
Coastal Carolina will rely on the strong performances of Emiliano Gonzalez Balmaceda and Christopher Norlin, both of whom lead the team in singles with 4-1 records. In doubles, Norlin and Iannis Fernandes have been dominant, holding a perfect 3-0 record.
