ETSU Men’s Tennis Defeats Lipscomb 5-2 for a Strong Comeback Win

East Tennessee State University’s men’s tennis team bounced back with a dominant 5-2 win over Lipscomb on Sunday. The Bucs took control early, winning the doubles point with ease. Pedro Cressoni and James Sim secured a 6-1 victory, followed by a 6-4 win from Francisco Lamas and Juan Andres Listo.

In singles play, Andres Listo and Carlos Gonzales extended ETSU’s lead to 3-0. Listo triumphed 6-4, 6-2, while Gonzales claimed a 6-1, 6-2 win. Lipscomb responded with victories on courts one and four, narrowing the gap. However, Martin Garcia-Ripoll sealed the match for the Bucs with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 win.
