In Dubai, action begins at 09:00 CET with world number two Iga Swiatek (23) facing 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva in the first quarter-final.
Meanwhile, in Doha, the second seed Alex De Minaur (26) will take on Andrey Rublev (27) at 12:30 CET in the opening match.
Overnight in Rio, the big names progressed. Fifth seed Sebastian Baez (24) defeated Mariano Navone (23) 6-4, 1-6, 6-3. Top seed Alexander Zverev (27) also advanced after a tough two-and-a-half-hour battle, winning 7-6, 7-6 against Alexander Shevchenko (24).
The last Brazilian in the tournament, Thiago Monteiro (30), was eliminated after a close match, losing 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 to Chun Hsin Tseng.
