Alex Allard has resigned as the head volleyball coach at Hastings College following the conclusion of the season.
“I have enjoyed my time as the head volleyball coach at Hastings College, and I am grateful for the support and trust from College President Rich Lloyd and Athletic Director Chris Clements,” Allard said. “Their leadership has been crucial in creating a positive environment for the team and the athletic community. I wish them all the best and look forward to the continued success of Hastings College volleyball.”
Under Allard’s leadership, the Broncos finished the 2025 season with a 15-12 record, placing fifth in the conference with an 8-8 mark. The team also secured a victory over Morningside in the GPAC quarterfinals. Over six seasons, Allard compiled a 78-84 record and led the team to the 2022 NAIA National Tournament, where they defeated Texas Wesleyan in the opening round.
“We thank Alex for her dedication to the volleyball program over the past six years and wish her the best in her future endeavors,” said Chris Clements, Athletic Director.
The search for the next head coach will begin immediately.
