The Leicester Riders will host Manchester Basketball in their first home game of 2025, with both teams looking to rebound from recent defeats.
The Riders and Manchester are two of the most in-form teams in British basketball. However, both teams had their winning streaks snapped in their last outings. Leicester lost to the Newcastle Eagles last weekend, ending their six-game winning run in the League. Manchester, on the other hand, was defeated by Cheshire Phoenix in overtime, bringing an end to their five-game streak across all competitions.
Currently, the Riders sit in third place with a 7-3 record, while Manchester is in sixth with a 4-6 record. The two teams will face each other twice this weekend, first in a League game on Friday, followed by a Cup Quarter-Final match on Sunday.
