Alabama’s 2025 Basketball Recruits Shine on the High School Circuit

Despite missing out on the nation’s No. 1 recruit, A.J. Dybantsa, Alabama’s basketball program still boasts a promising 2025 recruiting class. Head coach Nate Oats secured commitments from small forwards Amari Allen and London Jemison, along with guard Davion Hannah, who have all made their intentions clear to join the Crimson Tide.

Although none of these recruits have earned five-star ratings, and Alabama’s class has dropped from No. 4 to No. 7 in the On3 Industry Rankings, the team’s future remains strong. Just like current players such as Labaron Philon, who was named SEC Freshman of the Week three times, Allen, Jemison, and Hannah are proving they can make an impact early in their college careers.

Rankings: No. 65 nationally, No. 13 at position, No. 2 in Wisconsin

Allen returned to his home state after a standout stint at IMG Academy in Florida. Playing for Ashwaubenon, he’s averaging 33.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 3.1 steals per game while shooting over 46% from beyond the arc. The 6-foot-7 senior is playing 33.6 minutes per game, leading his team to a 7-2 record.

London Jemison (St. Thomas More, Connecticut)

Rankings: No. 37 nationally, No. 8 at position, No. 1 in Connecticut

Jemison, standing at 6-foot-8, is having an impressive senior year with an average of 27 points and six rebounds per game in the Zero Gravity Prep Classic. His shooting has been a highlight, with nearly 50% of his attempts from three-point range. 247Sports recently recognized him as one of the “biggest risers” in his class due to his progress as a shooter.

Davion Hannah (Link Academy, Missouri)

Rankings: No. 36 nationally, No. 7 at position, No. 3 in Missouri

Hannah’s Link Academy started the season ranked No. 1 by ESPN, though the team now holds a 4-2 record. The talented guard has been named to the Naismith Boys High School Player of the Year watchlist. His standout performances include a 10-point game to beat Long Island Lutheran and a memorable showing at the Tarkanian Classic, where he posted four points, nine steals, nine rebounds, and a block.
As these recruits continue to impress in their final high school season, Alabama’s 2025 class looks to be in excellent shape for the future.
