Yuma Catholic bounced back from a tough loss with a 4-3 win over Imperial at Ricky Gwynn Stadium on Tuesday. Gean Lagarda scored two goals to lead the Shamrocks to victory.
With the win, Yuma Catholic improves to 3-2, while Imperial drops to 9-3-5.
The match was tied 2-2 at halftime. In the second half, Lagarda and Hector Soto each added a goal, giving the Shamrocks a 4-2 lead. Imperial scored a penalty in the final moments, making it 4-3.
Yuma Catholic will face Tonopah Valley on Thursday, while Imperial will host Vincent Memorial on Friday.
