The Baltimore Ravens faced a potential setback in their regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns, as Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers left the game with a right knee injury. The Ravens secured a decisive 35-10 victory, but concerns linger over Flowers’ health heading into the playoffs.
Flowers sustained the injury during the second quarter after making a short catch-and-run. He appeared to be struck on the knee by Cleveland linebacker Mohamoud Diabate. Following the play, Flowers was seen grabbing his right leg and eventually walked off the field gingerly.
Head coach John Harbaugh expressed cautious optimism regarding Flowers’ condition, stating, “It’s something that he has a chance to be OK with, but we’ll probably have more details after an MRI tomorrow morning.”
This season, Flowers has been a vital asset for the Ravens, recording 74 receptions for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns. The 5-foot-9 receiver has also showcased his agility in the running game. With the win over Cleveland, the Ravens clinched the AFC North title, allowing them to play their starters without the need to protect them from injury.
