Tuchel Starts England Scouting Sees Positives

Thomas Tuchel, donning a thick coat and baseball cap, embarked on his scouting duties in his new role as the England national soccer coach. His inaugural task involved observing the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Newcastle on Saturday, and he likely left with a positive impression. Within the first six minutes, two players expected to feature in Tuchel’s initial squad found the back of the net: Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke scored in the fourth minute, followed shortly by Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon. The match concluded with Newcastle securing a 2-1 victory, which also showcased England squad members Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento.
