Marcus Rashford has been excluded from the Manchester United squad for the third consecutive match as the team prepares to face Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday.
Rashford missed the 2-1 victory against Manchester City last weekend and the 4-3 defeat to Tottenham in the English League Cup midweek. United manager Ruben Amorim attributed Rashford’s absence to “selection” decisions in both instances.
In an interview with journalist Henry Winter published on X, the 27-year-old forward expressed his desire for a new challenge, stating, “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings.’”
A product of United’s renowned academy, Rashford is under contract with the club until 2028.
