The Under-16 and Under-14 women’s teams of CV Gandia had a successful Saturday in Paterna, both securing hard-fought wins in their matches.
The Under-16 team made a stunning comeback after trailing 2-0, eventually winning 3-2. Their victory demonstrated their resilience, showing that with determination and effort, anything is possible. Meanwhile, the Under-14 team also triumphed 3-2 in a closely contested game, claiming victory after an intense battle.
In other matches, the Under-14 boys’ Team B defeated Benidorm 3-2 in a thrilling match. The girls’ zonal Under-14 team won 3-1 at home against CV Real de Gandia. Unfortunately, the second division Under-14 team lost 3-1 to CV Valencia.
The boys’ Under-16 team won their home match against Lucentum Alicante 3-1. The girls’ teams also faced each other, with Gandia Azul beating Gandia Blau 3-0.
In youth competitions, the boys’ team narrowly lost 3-2 to Xàtiva in an exciting match. The first division youth team, CV Trisema Joyeros, fell 3-0 to CV Sant Joan, while the third division team from CV Gandia lost 3-0 to CV Cid Campeador.
Despite some setbacks, the successful day for the Under-16 and Under-14 teams highlighted their competitive spirit and commitment.
