Emma Raducanu has secured the seventh position on the list of highest-paid female athletes, earning $14.7 million in 2024. However, this marks the second consecutive year in which her earnings have declined. According to Sportico, six of the top ten earners in women’s sports are tennis players, with Coco Gauff leading the list at $30.4 million. Other notable players include Iga Swiatek, Zheng Qinwen, Aryna Sabalenka, and Naomi Osaka, each earning between $15 million and $22 million.
Raducanu’s earnings comprise $671,000 in tournament prize money and an impressive $14.7 million from endorsements. This is a significant drop from her earnings in 2022, when she made $23 million, and from 2023, when she earned $16.2 million.
Looking ahead, Raducanu is optimistic about her prospects for 2025. After participating in only five tournaments in 2023, she played 13 events this year. Despite limited play, she has shown promise, entering the 2025 season with confidence in her abilities. “I think I started the year off pretty well for the first half, up to Wimbledon. Then I struggled a little more with my body physically and wasn’t able to play the full calendar,” the former world No. 10 reflected. “But considering I’m in the top 60 in the world after playing less than 15 events, that’s pretty remarkable. I know I’m a dangerous player, and I take pride in that. I’m looking forward to hopefully staying on court longer next year.”
If Raducanu can maintain her health and achieve her goals in the coming year, she is likely to see an increase in both prize money and endorsement opportunities.
