Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka, forward Tari Eason, and center Alperen Sengun have each been fined for their actions during a recent game, as announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations.
Udoka received a $50,000 fine for confronting a game official and using profane language, failing to exit the court promptly after his ejection, and publicly criticizing the officiating during his postgame press conference.
Eason was fined $35,000 for throwing a towel and using inappropriate language directed at a fan after the game concluded.
Sengun has been fined $15,000 for directing inappropriate language toward a game official.
The incidents involving Udoka and Sengun occurred during the fourth quarter of the Rockets’ 120-111 loss to the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center on December 3, with 1:52 left in the game, leading to both being assessed technical fouls and ejected.
