The Chicago Bulls are set to welcome back guard Lonzo Ball for their game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET, available on NBA League Pass. According to the league’s injury report, Ball is cleared to play after missing nearly a month due to a right wrist sprain.
Ball’s return comes after a challenging start to the season, having only recently rejoined the Bulls following an extended absence due to leg injuries. He sustained the wrist injury just one week into the 2024-25 season during Chicago’s 126-123 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, where he played 18 minutes and recorded six points and six assists.
The Bulls originally acquired Ball from the New Orleans Pelicans in a sign-and-trade deal prior to the 2021-22 season. He made a strong impact in Chicago, averaging 13 points and 5.1 assists while shooting 42.3% from beyond the arc across 35 games before his injuries took a toll on his playing time.
