Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant made a triumphant return to the court, each scoring 23 points as the Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 127-100 on Tuesday night, ending a five-game losing streak.
Devin Booker led the Suns with 26 points and 10 assists, showcasing the team’s revitalized performance with both Beal and Durant back in action. Beal had been sidelined for the past five games, while Durant missed seven due to a strained left calf.
Beal demonstrated his efficiency, shooting 10-for-15 from the field, including 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. The presence of both stars significantly impacted the game, as the Suns improved to 9-1 this season when Durant plays, compared to 1-6 without him. Durant had previously dealt with a left calf strain during the Paris Olympics, where he helped secure a gold medal for Team USA.
In nine games this season, Beal is averaging 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.
