The Pakistan baseball team claimed the Arab Classic Baseball title with a dominant 12-1 victory over the UAE in the final. This win completed an undefeated run for Pakistan in the tournament, held by Baseball United. The team secured their sixth consecutive victory in the competition.
After a tight start in the first two innings, Pierce Khan broke the deadlock with an RBI single, giving Pakistan the lead. The team then took control, with Moosa Nonomiya adding to the offense with a home run. By the seventh inning, Pakistan had built a commanding 7-1 lead and continued to dominate, finishing the game with a 12-1 victory.
Pakistan ended the tournament with a perfect 6-0 record. They had previously beaten Bangladesh, the UAE twice, India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. Their closest game was a 3-0 win over Sri Lanka in the semi-finals.
Muhammad Husain of Pakistan was named the MVP of the tournament for his outstanding performances throughout the competition.
Organized by Baseball United, the only organization dedicated to growing baseball in the Middle East, the tournament provided regional teams with a chance to showcase their talent. Pakistan’s 14-player team dominated the four-day event, further solidifying their position as the top team in the tournament.
This victory highlights Pakistan’s growing presence in international baseball and their expanding influence in global sports.
