The final matchday of the Women’s Basketball League Africa (WBLA) Zone 3 Qualifiers in Monrovia, Liberia, determined the teams advancing to the semi-finals.
Friends Basketball Association (FBA) from Côte d’Ivoire will face Energie Basket in the first semi-final, while Nigeria’s Customs will play against MFM in the second semi-final.
In Group A, FBA qualified with 4 points from 2 games, while MFM advanced with 3 points. Invincible Eleven, the third team in the group, was eliminated.
In Group B, Nigeria Customs topped the group with a perfect 3-0 record. Energie Basket, the national champions of Benin, followed closely with a 2-1 record. SOA from Côte d’Ivoire and Liberia’s Commissioners were both eliminated.
