Lansdown Tennis, Squash & Croquet Club has announced the appointment of Stephanie Bryan as its new general manager.
Stephanie previously worked for the University of Bath’s Department of Sports Development & Recreation (Team Bath) as the marketing and communications manager for two years.
She began her career in London with a global communications agency and in television. After moving to Bath, she represented The Bath Priory and Gidleigh Park hotels in the independent education and hospitality sectors. Stephanie is also an avid tennis player and has volunteered at her local tennis club for many years.
John Higgins, chair of the Lansdown Club, expressed enthusiasm for Stephanie’s appointment, stating, “We have ambitious plans for our club, including improvements to our playing and social facilities. We aim to provide a better experience for our members and a more professional approach to our operations. Stephanie’s appointment is central to those plans, and I’m delighted to welcome her to the team.”
Stephanie shared her excitement about joining the club, saying, “I’m proud to be joining Lansdown Tennis, Squash & Croquet Club. I am familiar with Lansdown and its rich history. This is an exciting time as we look to the future and the opportunities ahead. The facilities here are fantastic, and the clubroom is a great place to relax and socialize before or after a match. Lansdown is widely regarded as Bath’s premier private members’ club, and I can’t wait to connect with the members, coaches, staff, and committee.”
The club is affiliated with the Lawn Tennis Association and England Squash, regularly hosting regional and national competitions. Coaching in tennis and squash is available for all levels, from beginners to nationally ranked players.
