Sharapova and Bryan Twins Elected to Tennis Hall of Fame

Maria Sharapova has been elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025. The announcement was made on Thursday, October 24. Alongside Sharapova, American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, known as the most successful doubles team in history, will also be inducted.

The official induction ceremony is set for August 23 at the Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island.

Sharapova, a five-time singles Grand Slam champion, is one of only ten women to achieve a career Grand Slam in singles. She made history in 2005 as the first Russian woman to reach the world No. 1 ranking. Additionally, she earned a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

Expressing her gratitude, Sharapova, 37, shared on X, “Incredibly grateful to receive this honor. A big thank you to The Hall of Fame and to all the voters.”
