Wigan Warriors have made history by retaining the Super League title for the first time. They secured their victory by defeating Hull KR 9-2 in the Grand Final at Old Trafford last weekend.
This win marks the seventh time the Warriors have been named Super League champions. In the modern era, only four clubs have become champions of England: Wigan Warriors, St Helens, Leeds Rhinos, and Bradford Bulls.
Hull KR faced disappointment at the Theatre of Dreams in their first-ever Super League Grand Final. The club has not won a major title since 1985.
Some clubs have faced an even longer wait for a league title. For example, Warrington Wolves last claimed the championship in 1955.
